Giving back to our community is what we do best!  Each year, we accept dozens of applications from local non-profit organizations.  Our membership then votes for two charities which we commit to support through our fundraising efforts throughout the year.  We hope that you take the time to get to know these organizations amd understand their importance in our community.  We appreciate your participation in our fundraising events, which are always open to the public.  Please be sure to check the ‘FUNdraisers’ page for more information on how you can get involved.

A horse is on the RIGHT LEAD when he leads his body with his inside front leg as he travels in a circle.  Otherwise, he is on the wrong lead and will become unbalanced and falter.  When a child lives life without good chances, he too needs to find the RIGHT LEAD.  Otherwise, he will become unbalanced and falter.
 
Right Lead offers "At-Risk" children the chance to better the lives of horses saved from neglect and uncertain futures, and in doing so advance their own futures.  Both children and horses become positive contributing members of their old and new families. 

Right Lead uses Equine Assisted Learning techniques which enables "At-Risk" children to develop trust, responsibility, self esteem, team work and good communication skills.  The horses learn trust and can be placed in loving homes.
